Dan Marlborough

Mr. Marlborough started training in the Korean Martial Arts in 1978 in Hapkido and International style Tae Kwon Do. Having trained with, and been tested by, world-renowned Master Instructors Hee Il Cho (9th Degree), Master Bun Song Seng (7th Degree) and Sensei Michael Lyons (5th Degree), achieving the rank of 3rd Degree Black Belt.

Mr. Marlborough has had the opportunity to train with, and learn from, many different renowned Masters over the years:

  • Hapkido Master Im Hyun Soo (9th Degree).
  • Combat Sambo Master Michael Galperin (6th Degree).
  • Seigneury Jiu-Jitsu founder Sigurds Ogrins (6th Degree).
  • All Traditional Jiu-Jitsu society founder Shihan James Jones (6th Degree).

In 1999 Mr. Marlborough was awarded the prestigious "Instructor of Self-Defense" Certificate from the New England Jiu-Jitsu association.

Mr. Marlborough has taught various local law enforcement agencies arrest techniques and pressure point & control tactics, as well as having conducted rape prevention seminars for the Blackstone valley rape crisis center.

Mr. Marlborough directs all of the adult programs.
